very nice holidays
The family room could be a bit larger.
Shower was ok but could be upgraded.
Unfortunately most deck chairs near the swimming pool area are dammaged. They still can be used but it would be worth fixing or replacing them.
Like anywhere along this coast the beaches are rather narrow and crowded, so all in all we spent more time at the swimming pool, which was much more relaxing, even though it was nice to swim in the sea once in while as well.
Because so many people drive down to the Marina daily to use the beaches, the narrow road connecting the hotel to Vico Equense can be saturated at time in summer.
Very clean hotel, very helpfull staff. The hotel is part of a small harbour (marina Aequa) which includes beaches, bars and restaurants. The beach is 100 metres away and the hotel swimming pool is clean, quiet, large enough and enjoyable (even though colder than the sea in August). Even though 2 Transvesuviana railway stations (Vico Equense and Seiano) are quite close, they are much higher than the sea level, hence many stairs to climb (>200). It is a pleasant walk in terms of views but exhausting in the sun. Lucklily there is also a bus (running every 30 minutes or so) to get to VicoEquense, from where you can take a train to Pompeii, Heculaneum, Naples, Sorrento etc... Some boat connections are available from the marina, so that you can get to Capri and the Amalfi coast. All in all we stayed 2 weeks and did not fall short of ideas for sightseing in the area and were able to reach the sites we wanted to visit without renting a car at any time,
Breakfast is a buffet with a large choice of items and was included in the price.
Large choice of bars and restaurants in the marina nearby, most of which are reasonably priced. There is also 2 stars michelin restaurant across the street, but we did not have a try there....
